I just watched your youtube video on creating the rule in the alarm.com portal for disarming the system when a code is entered to unlock the deadbolt.
Since qolsys sells key-fobs for unlocking deadbolts, I am wondering if the event of unlocking the deadbolt with a key-fob will have the same effect as entering the code.
Could you post a model number you are referring to with the Keyfob?
Qolsys Keyfobs like the IQ FOB, QS-1310-P01, do not directly communicate or unlock/lock door locks or other Z-wave devices.
To clarify: the buttons on the keyfob which show an open lock and a closed lock are the disarm and arm buttons, respectively. The keyfob arms and disarms the alarm panel.
Automatic locking and unlocking rules can then be created based on arming.
Automatic disarm rules based on lock activity would take effect when a selected user enters their code at the lock (or any user enters their code at the lock)
