I’ll wait a year and let the others test it out.

I’ll happily be one of the others once SuretyDIY has it available. I’m installing new and would prefer to have them back-end program all my sensors and set defaults… rather than get it from another site that has it available now.

So will the upgrade path be easy if you buy it from Surety Cam and upgrade from an GC2? It would be nice if you could just back it up and restore instead of reprogramming everything manually.

I have a GC2 and just ordered the GoBridge for wifi capability so I am not really seeing all that much difference between my system and the new one. I would do it though if I didn’t have to reprogram everything from scratch.

If there is not a backup restore option, will there be ANY tools to make the transition easy?

Apparently if you have a true GC2 (should not see the word"emergency" under the emergency button on the front) a back-up restore option is being made available. It won’t be available with older hardware panels.

I didn’t think it would be but I am told by ADC that from the GC2 to the GC3 should be available.
