Yale YRD256 user code length

For some reason one of my Yale locks is not accepting my 6 digit user code from my IQ2+. I get the following warning:

“Some of your devices (Front Door) do not support user codes of this length. If you proceed, the pin will be truncated for these devices (e.g. “456789” might be converted to “4567”)”

My other lock (same exact model) has no issues. Any ideas?

One of them is being reported to the panel with the manufacturer and product data, the Front Door one is reporting with an unknown manufacturer and product info. This is going to be the reason for the discrepancy.

If they are the exact same model, try removing that Front Door lock from the panel, make sure the panel is within 6 feet of the Front Door lock, and relearn it into the panel. Leave the panel nearby for a full 3 minutes after the initial success with pairing.

Move everything back to permanent spot and run a network rediscovery. Settings -> Advanced Settings -> System Tests-> Z-Wave Tests -> Rediscover Network

I removed then added the lock and now all is good now. Thanks!
