I have an DSC 1864 + 8 zone wired expander 5108 + plus an RF 5132 + 5204 PSU/PGM expander.
Zone 1-6 are all hardwired, Zones 17+ are all w/less
I programmed PGM4 ( On the 1864) to follow Zone 32 open/close using option 37 ( zone following for zones 25-32)
Zone 32 is wireless contact set for Option 26 ( monitoring but no alarm)
When programming section 504 ( PGM 4) to follow zone 32 ( setting bit 8 ) it will not activate PGM4 o/p
By pure chance under section 504 I selected bit 3 ( the default bit ) and now Zone 32 correctly activates PG4 following Zone 32 open and close 100%
Zone 32 is correctly identified as “32” on the keypad.
I would have expected bit 3 to make PGM follow Zone 27 according to my manual.

It has been a while since I worked with PGMs on the DSC PC1616, 1832 or 1864. However, it looks like the manual is indicating zone assignments are under 554.
Option 37, under section 504 would let you select with 3 and 8 to toggle how the PGM behaves and what is needed to trigger it, changing the logic.
Can you clarify how you are setting Zone assignments?
Jason - thank you very much . Extremely helpful. I read "Partition Assignment and did not follow on to the part where for PGM Options 29 and 35-41 these same sections are for PGM zone assignments . MY bad !
