Wireless Translator Problem

I bought a re124hg to convert my honeywell wireless sensors to ge frequency for an original iq panel. For some reason, my alarm can only detect it tampering and it doesnt do anything when I open the door unless I’m in the sensor test mode. Its the qolsys panel that isn’t reporting an open signal, but the translator lights up (connected to the iq panel as wireless translator). Is there a way to fix this?

I do not see a connected Surety subscription so I wouldn’t be able to view or verify your sensor programming. In general if you are getting tampers from zones, you should be able to get other signals.

The devices may have been learned in with the wrong device type LED selected. There are limited instructions, but it looks like that is probably what selects the correct loop to listen to and repeat from the Honeywell sensors.

Try deleting those sensors and resetting the translator, then learn the sensors being careful to select the device type LED. Learn a few door/window sensors that way and then test before everything else.

Yes, It’s all in the same sensor type, and I have resetted and added other sensors in to it (I added a keyfob and it worked). I have checked every way to do this, and I’m starting to feel that it’s the system that is having a problem. I’m going to buy a ge sensor seeing if it will work.

What model are the sensors

honeywell 5821L, honeywell 5800PIR, honeywell 5811, honeywell 5834
