I currently have a wireless Ring doorbell camera. My house was not wired for a doorbell and the Ring works fine.
However, I would like to integrate my doorbell I to my 2gig system.
Am I understanding, correctly, that Skybell must have a wired system?

If you do not have an indoor chime and just wanted to use the Skybell by itself, you can, you would just need to follow the manufacturer instructions regarding power application.
You could just use a 12VDC 1A power supply. Note that an in-line resistor (10 Ohm, 10 Watt) is required when installing the doorbell camera without a wired, in-home doorbell chime. (see attached) Failure to install a resistor when a chime is not present may result in damage to the doorbell camera.
As a point of clarification, the Skybell does not integrate with the 2GIG panel or communicate to it directly in any way. Skybell is integrated with the Alarm.com back-end and is controlled through the Alarm.com app.
