I saw the related topic for wiring the system which I think I figured mine out. I have the ADC-T3000 and an Aprilaire 720. I used the single wire method and connect it to Z2 on the terminal block brought it down and routed the wire to one of the wires on the solenoid. The other wire I brought to the common wire in the rats nest wiring. Not my work but my HVAC guy does an awesome job. That said, I think it might be more configuration on my end not physical connections. I went to the T3000 and told it to relearn all of the wires. It found Z2 by osmosis I’m assuming considering it isnt working.
So all that said I told it that Z2 is a humidifier and went though all of the settings in the manuals to ensure its configured properly. My firmware is 1.3 if memory serves. Is there an updated firmware that can be pushed to it? Am I doing something wrong here? Help….
So quick update.. As of retraining the wiring and messing with a bunch of settings in the thermostat it magically started working. I am not gonna complain its working. I think the big thing was to retrain the wiring to the thermostat. woo hoo! No more dry sleeping.
