Where can I find my duress codes?

Long story short, is there a place to view duress codes outside of the alarm.com app?

I had to call central monitoring due to a false alarm from the dog sitter which was cancelled within a minute but I still got texts that I had to respond to avoid dispatch. When I said “abort” over messages, it said it was too late so I called. Central dispatch said that it was cancelled right away and no one was dispatched.

20 min later I get a call from my sheriff’s office and see my cameras have a large response, the officer told me there was a duress signal given but asked me some questions and left after about 20 min.

I know there is a duress code in the app but it was not one I remember(reviewed after all this thinking I did something wrong) and I did not give the code listed in the app.

When I had called Central dispatch and they asked for my passcode I asked if it was a word or the panel code and they couldnt give a hint so I gave my panel code (not duress) and a word I thought was the passcode.

Reflection after a moment of panic….I remember when I set the service up (I think like 10 years ago) they asked me for a duress word; I believe I either mistakenly (and embarrassingly) gave that word or central monitoring just made a mistake.

Either way, the only other word I gave, I cannot find listed as a duress and genuinely thought that was my verbal passcode SO I believe its a great time for a refresher to avoid this from happening.

I thought it might be in Surety Account Manager so I logged into that and got the following error “There has been a critical error on this website.”

Thanks for any help.

That is where you would go, sorry for the error. I have looked over your account and I see the issue that occurred. Can you try that again now? It should be resolved.

You can view and manage your verbal duress word within the system manager here. Visit the Professional Monitoring tab to find your duress words.

The panel also supports a numerical duress code used in place of a user code to disarm. If you use that duress code when disarming, the panel will send a duress panic signal to the monitoring team. This code is managed in Alarm.com under the Users page.
