My Qolsys IQ 2 Panel is located in the mudroom where we enter from the garage most of the time. When entering that way we can easily hear the entry delay beeps and we know to unarm the alarm system. When our cleaning lady or mother in law enters from the front door, sometimes the beep goes unheard resulting in a false alarm. A secondary keypad is ideal for system control nearby the garage entry. Otherwise an option may be to use a Z-wave appliance module and an automation rule which turns it on when the door opens. You can then use a sound-maker of your choice to be powered on via that appliance module.
