I would like to disable emergency weather alerts on my panel. Please advise me how to do so.

Do you need to have ADC gold interactive subscription in order to get weather alerts?

Yes. Severe weather alerts are available with Gold Interactive monitoring. It is one of the features shown here.

Any tornadoes in your vicinity? Hurricanes? That’s what the alerts are for.
Generally if you receive a NWS alert for a tornado/hurricane warning over your android device, or TV, you will get one on the panel too
That is correct. Keep in mind severe thunderstorms will not generate an alert.
