I have added a water sensor and a water valve to the Water tab of emPower. How do I create a rule to shut the water valve when the water sensor notices a leak? On the Rules tab, it looks like I can only open and close the water valve upon the event of the system being armed or disarmed – not quite as useful for me. Please let me know the next step. It appears as though you are using a z-wave water sensor. Currently, these are not fully compatible with alarm.com. Instead you would want to use a compatible RF 345 water sensor. Once installed and learned in properly, this should show up in the water management section on ADC and allow you to create the rules you’re looking for.
