Should water sensor events show in the highlights section? I think (and prefer) they would but they aren’t. I get an email when a water sensor is activated but I’d like to see when it trips on the highlight and when it goes dry again. I have a sensor in a drain (sump) and this info works be useful.
I believe they will but it depends on other daily activity. Alarm.com adds the following caveat in highlights documentation: Events that display in Highlights are automatically generated as the day goes on and represent a summary of daily activity. All events that occur during the day may not be included in Highlights.
We’ll send some feedback to ADC and double check if those are supposed to be included. If so, we’ll request weighting water events like those higher for inclusion of highlights.
Alarmn.com did mention it will show as an alarm activated but not which sensor activated it and when it is showing as dry. You would have to check your activity log in order to see the history of when it activated and when it showed as Dry again
The alarm.com representative did put in a request to show which alarm activated under highlights. There is no guarantee or ETA of this future but it may be possible to see it in a future update
