I recently added a video doorbell to my home system. I can view live video on my alarm.com app, but I do not see my doorbell anywhere on my 2gig panel and cannot view live video through the doorbell on my panel. The panel also does not chime when the doorbell button is pushed, but I do get a push notification on my phone through the app. I looked through all of my devices on my 2gig panel, but do not see my doorbell anywhere on it. I made sure the doorbell chime in the volume settings was set to max volume, but the panel does not announce anything when the doorbell is rung. I do not have a separate chime for the doorbell, but my house is small enough that you can hear the panel throughout the house, so I was hoping to not need to purchase a standalone chime.
The 2GIG GC3 does not support these features.
Streaming doorbell video to the alarm panel is supported on the IQ Panel 2, IQ Panel 4, IQ Hub, and 2GIG Edge.
Alternatively the W115C Smart chime can be used with the VDB770 to act as a wireless chime.
