Video: How to Install a 2GIG DBELL1-345 Wireless Doorbell into a 2GIG GC3 Panel

Looking to add a wireless doorbell to your GC3 Panel but need some assistance? Look no further!

This video goes over how to pair a 2GIG DBELL1-345 Wireless Doorbell with a 2GIG GC3 Panel

thanks I bought this last year. I wish the voice decscriptor was louder or different from the other sensors. I mad mine say front doorbell. I wish there was a chime sound like an iPhone or something.

There are quite a few options to choose from for chimes, and keep in mind as with the GC2, the GC3 chimes are on a per sensor basis.

System Settings - Installer Toolbox - System Programming - Wireless Zones. Select one of the combined chime + voice chimes.

Hello,

I have the 2GIG-DBELL1-345 installed on my GC3 panel with sensor reports enabled. But when I look at the history log, there are no reports of the door bell ever being set off. Is it not sending a sensor report because the sensor type is set to “23-No Response Type”?

No, a doorbell programmed as Sensor type 23 No Response Type will never generate alarms, but will report activity to ADC.

The activity will not be visible in the panel history. You can view when the doorbell is pressed in Alarm.com by navigating to the Activity page.

Be sure that the sensor equipment type is programmed as Contact instead of Motion. It defaults to motion and this will greatly increase the activation delay in ADC.

When programmed as a contact, a history event can populate once every 3 minutes. If you test more often than that it will not be registered.

I appreciate the knowledge and insight Warren, thank you. I hope that future firmware will allow doorbell activity to be visible at the panel.
