Does anyone know of a sensor like this that could be bought separately and added to other brands of double hung windows other the Andersen?

I am not aware of them no. Looks like these in fact are integrated into the window from the factory, so it would not be likely.
Interesting that they are 5800 series Honeywell Compatible. I haven’t worked with them so I am uncertain how it would handle locked vs unlocked. Likely just another loop to program in.
I dig some digging around and couldn’t find anything else. It’s a nice clean way to deal with double hung windows. I think I’m going to go with the 2GIG-DW40-345 and some thin rare earth magnets.
