VDB775 - POE Version Coming?

I’m still spec-ing my new system.

for the doorbell - it’s the only place I don’t currently have POE - but they did run cat5 from the doorbell to the current transformer. so I could remove the cable from the existing transformer and connect it to my meraki poe switch.

the features on the 775 are much nicer than the POE 755P.

if needed, I’ll buy the 775 and connect it via the transformer and wireless.

but my preference would be ethernet and poe. is there a poe version of the 775 in the works?

From what I have seen no. Only the VDB-755P supports PoE in a doorbell camera format.

While there could be something else in the works, It has not been announced.
