Hello Surety Team! I have a VDB770 and noticed something weird about the recording. I had a salesperson walk up to my door last night and it captured the person detection when she walked up and recorded that and notified me that she pressed the doorbell it notified me of that as well. However when I answered the call and had a conversation with her I went back and it didnt record the doorbell call at all. Was it supposed it? And if so what setting am I missing?

Here is the recording rule I have. Is this supposed to record the whole call? and if so I wonder if it was because it was pushed right after she was detected by person detection. Is there a way to record all dorbell calls?
For privacy reasons, we are limited as a dealer in what we can see recording wise. While it does not show time limit, or actual vide, I do show two separate recordings from the doorbell camera around 6:21PM, one appears to be significantly longer than other.
If you navigate to Saved Video Clips in Alarm.com, and select the Doorbell Camera, you can see a few videos. Is one of these what you are referencing?
I will send the video clip in question to you guys by email. i captures her pressing the button but it did not capture the conversation we had over the doorbell that occurred approximately ten seconds after she pressed the button. Should it have?
What time was the video captured and how long was the conversation.
757 is when she walked up. The conversation started right after the video clip i sent ended and lasted approximately 45 seconds to a minute
Thank you for that information. I am looking into it.
Apologies for the confusion. According to ADC the camera recordings for the VDB770 will record motion but not record the call itself once answered.
Thanks for looking into that tyler! Would you mind passing the recording of calls off to alarm.com as a feature suggestion for me? Very strange they chose not to incorporate that when most other doorbells record the call itself too.
I actually did do that with them earlier when I was looking into it. I thought this was a feature that existed already and I am surprised its not.
Thanks! You guys are awesome!
