It appears installing the DSC Touch in our new home would not be the best option for us. I did reach out to Qolsys about the new IQ Panel 2 and DSC 433Mhz devices and they suggested going with a Resolution RE524X Translator. Do you have any experience with using this device? Any problems going this route?

It would allow you to use DSC 433mhz sensors and translate them into 319.5mhz GE signals which can be used with the current IQ Panel 2. If you have a lot of DSC sensors it would be the most cost effective option.
