Upgrade from Vista 20P

I would like to upgrade my current “VISTA-20P/PS SERIES” system to Qolsys. The sticker on the main Vista circuitboard chip reads in part “WA2OP-2.2” and “REV 2.2”

It is 100% hard-wired with no existing wireless devices.

There are three existing Ademco keypads.

I would eventually like to add a couple more motion sensors, controllable door locks and possibly doorbells.

Can you tell me what hardware I need to upgrade this system?

If you are upgrading from the Vista 20p to a Qolsys, you can go two different routes. The first route would be the IQ Panel 4 with a PowerG hardwire translator. It comes with 8 hardwired zones but you can use IQ Expansion cards to add an additional 8 zones per card.

IQ Panel 4:

The IQ Pro has hardwired zones directly on the panel. It is able to handle more keypads and more hardwired zones on the panel itself.
