Unable to add cameras to the account

After closing my account earlier in the year, I have needed to reactivate and re-install the alarm system in my home. All of my motion sensors and door/window sensors work fine, but I am completely failing at getting the cameras added. I have never had this issue in the past and I’ve put over 3 hours into just trying to get these cameras added.

After multiple factory resets, I have had no luck adding two ADC V521IR, and one ADC V522IR cameras to my account. I have attempted to add them via WPS, AP, and ethernet, but with no luck. The website add device never finds them despite all of them booting fully, as well as having the corresponding flashing blue, white or solid green LED on the camera for that setup type.

In the past, there was a way to setup and add devices via the web portal by choosing device type and using their MAC address. I can no longer find this anywhere. Can anyone provide some insight as to why I am having so much difficulty adding them? The only option both the web and mobile app interfaces have is “Z Wave device” (see attached image) and then after clicking the Next button, it just hangs forever at the “Automation Devices Wizard” searching and never finds anything.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated because right now I feel like a complete idiot and I build out enterprise POE security camera & NVR setups as a side hustle so it should not be this difficult…

Thanks,

Ian

Looks like you are enrolled in the Surety Alarm service plan. This does not include integration/control of video devices.

If you are looking for home security control with video, you can add video add-ons to your account, or switch to the Surety Protect service plan.

Changes to your service plan are made through the System Manager feature of your Surety account.
This process can be done at anytime.

Once video has been added, the Video tab will show up in Alarm.com and cameras can be incorporated.

More information on connecting a variety of cameras can be found here:

Tyler, thank you. I will try this as soon as I get back into town.
