Doing work in our home, lots of dust being generated, which is triggering the smoke detectors. What is the best way to disable the smoke detectors for the next several days?
I recommend taking them down and removing the batties but place u alarm account in test mode first
That or you could cover them in place.
As suggested above you will want to move them or cover them to protect them from dust and damage during renovation work.
