I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to set up a rule such that when armed away (or even stay), if a sensor is triggered (such as during an intrusion), to turn on all my lights and open the shades? My home is integrated with Lutron shades and lights.
That is a fairly common rule that is used when lighting is included in a system. A lot of users will select specific lights to come on during an alarm event.
To clarify here, in Alarm.com you wouldn’t be selecting a sensor activity based rule, it would be an alarm based rule. You can select all sensors as the possible trigger, or specific sensors which trigger the rule.

I noticed a couple of Lutron Shades that I added yesterday are not appearing on my alarm.com account. How long does it take for Lutron or adc.com to refresh the list of devices?
Typically updates will be reflected fairly quickly. If you notice a lengthy delay, you can try to force an update by power cycling your main repeater/bridge.
