Hello, I have a 2GIG GC2 system that was on an older firmware, before upgrading I could pair sensors no problem. When I go into version in the toolbox it’s showing all F’s for the Z-Wave information too. Is there any way for a staff member to check on their end? My panel is connected to Surety, just none of my sensors. I have the upgrade tool, and if it’s possible to downgrade, I will, but I’m unsure how.
There is no way to downgrade on the software.
When was the update performed and how was it performed?
Could you power down the system and and power it back up? While you power it down, can you make sure the transceiver is pushed in all the way
To do this, you can open the panel > Remove AC power > Remove the battery > Wait about 5 minutes > Connect battery first > Connect AC power
Allow the system to power on and try again
Update was performed a couple days ago, I assumed it was a bad transceiver but just replaced it with another one today and I am getting the same error. I used the easy updater tool. Is there a way to reflash the same firmware?
I’ve powered it off and on multiple times with the same results unfortunately.
I also thought 1.19.3 worked with the LTE module, which is what version I was on before updating, but I could not find the cellular test in the settings. After updating, LTE showed up, but I lost the transceiver.
What is the model of the new transceiver you ordered? Could you check the box? There should also be some indication on the transceiver of the model type
2GIG-REC2-345E is the model number.
I believe this transceiver is not compatible with your 2gig system.
The correct transceiver part number should be 2GIG-XCVR2-345.
The E series transceiver is not compatible with your panel. I would try your older transceiver one more time.
