I bought and installed a tilt sensor for my garage door. I don’t want the garage door alarmed – I want to just be able to see if the garage door is up or down. The sensor shows on my ADC dashboard but doesn’t reflect the status of the garage door. What did I do wrong?
If programmed as Sensor Type 23: No Response, a subtype must be selected. You can choose Contact or Motion. If you see your Tilt reporting the status: “Idle” it means it is programmed as motion rather than contact. You will want to select “contact”
