Just to clarify, the tamper alert in those images is an old alert from 6/28. It looks like that alert never resolved so you just have a solid tamper status since then.
It sounds like the physical tamper switch is likely defective if the panel is closed up tight.
If you open the panel and press on the tamper switch (The tamper switch is found under the thin white tab beside the battery housing):
- Does the tamper switch make a click sound?
- Does the panel show the tamper resolved while you physically hold down the switch with your finger?
