Switching to Surety - ADC question

In process of switching over the service - the hardware has arrived. Have a question as it relates to the ADC portion of the service. Since I have service with Brinks/ADC for the next 26 days or so, and ADC is currently using the same email address I have setup my Surety account with… will I have any issues with the new Surety/ADC account? -do they simply move the old ADC account over to Surety?

Your Alarm.com account is different than your Surety account. The account on our website is just for the forum, billing and system management.

You can have 2 Alarm.com accounts associated with the same email address. But you will have to pick a different username for your new Alarm.com account than you have on your Brinks Alarm.com account.

It is possible to transfer your existing Alarm.com account to Surety but you would have to convince Brinks to do it. It’s not up to us. We’re happy to help do it if they’re willing. Normally people just create a new account when they switch.
