SVR Going away?

Had an installer tell me that the residential and ADC SVR is going away and there are no plans for a replacement. Is this true?

Found this:

I heard the same thing. However, some cameras support on-board storage.

That is correct, it is being phased out, although the device will still be supported by Alarm.com.

At this time there is not a replacement for the SVR122, while that could change going forward, there is no planned replacement.

The CSVR126 Commercial Stream Video Recorder has not been discontinued.

Hey Tyler,

Saw in that article that was posted alarm.com supports onboard recording but it has to be enabled on the backend. For subscribers to surety that have compatible cameras, or those thinking about getting cameras (like myself) would you guys enable that feature upon request for those who desire 24/7 recording???

Alarm.com has made some updates to their video plans, and onboard storage support for 2 cameras is available on request in the Complete plan right now. We are currently discussing how best to integrate optional additional onboard storage support.

Surety allows us to use the commercial SVR as well?
