Surety Automation versus Surety Home

We just added Surety Home without monitoring, and are wondering if Surety Automation would be a better fit for us.

If we switch to Surety Automate, would we be able to change the setup so we get reports/notifications on the smoke detector and water/flood sensors?

I saw this: “If you program it as a door sensor under Sensor Group 25, it will only be used for notifications (no alarms will occur locally), and we can manually select it as a water sensor for you in Alarm.com, allowing you to use the ADC water management features with it.”

So it sounds like this may be an option for us.

You would not have monitoring of any alarms at all, and smoke detectors would not be supported.

You could program flood sensors as sensor group 25, as well as door window sensors, motions, etc.
