I have sms notifications setup for my garage door and they work great. Over the last week my close sms text have started coming from support@sureryhome.com instead of my normal alarm.com number that my open text come from. Just wondering if there has been some sort of change?
Same here, my wife and I are getting most SMS messages from alarm.com but occasional messages from Surety. I came here to see if it was happening to anyone else.
This is normal. Depending on your cellular carrier and the notification being sent, text notifications may arrive addressed from your dealer’s default outgoing email address or by short code.
There have been some recent impacts to SMS from Verizon and T-Mobile, it is possible Alarm.com is shifting more notifications to that outgoing email address.
So I do have Verizon and maybe that is the case. All of mine today so far have come from the outgoing email address. No issues just wanted to see if something had changed so I can update my information
