Smoke listener false alarm

We just received a false alarm due to the smoke listener.
We’ve verified the false alarm— would it be possible to have support disable/remove the listener until we can get home this evening to replace the battery?
If not, is there another way to avoid more false alarms for the next few hours?

Oddly enough, the battery was very recently replaced. Any tips or suggestions? Maybe the device is end of life?

Sure, I can send a command to delete that zone if the system is disarmed, or you can place that zone on test mode with the monitoring station.

Would you like me to delete that zone?

By verified the false alarm, do you mean there was no smoke alarm activation that it heard? Was anyone at the location at the time?

If this is a Firefighter audio detector (I am assuming so given the name) it will only trigger an alarm after multiple cadences of the 3 pulse smoke detector alarm. This is about 8-10 seconds of a detector going off.

There is no official end of life for the audio detector.

Yes please remove that zone.

Correct, this is a Firefighter listener. No actual smoke detectors were triggered (verified by reviewing the audio from camera footage at the time of the alarm as well as from a neighbor who was able to quickly come to the house).

Commands have been sent to remove the Zone 48 Smoke Listener. Give it about 5-10 for those commands to complete. The sensor will need to be re-added manually should you wish to re-add it to the system
