My skybell doorbell stopped connecting and was flashing red and green. I checked the power connections and tried to reset it. Everything seemed fine, but it’s still flashing red and green.
I’ve made no changes to my home network. Nothing moved.
So i tried going into the app and removing my doorbell and adding it again now i regularly get the error that i cant add a video device.
What should i do?

There has been an ongoing issue with Alarm.com regarding the doorbells and that error message. There is a short period of time where the back end data for the doorbell has not yet been fully cleared from Alarm.com.
Usually it takes about a half hour and you should be able to relearn that doorbell and no longer see that error.
The error message that displays is unhelpful and not specific to the situation, it states a “permission” error, which leads to confusion.
If you reconnect to wifi and relearn do you see the same issue?
