size of magnet for 2GIG-DW40-345?

Does anyone know the size of the magnet for the 2GIG-DW40-345? I’m trying to put the magnet part on the top sash of a double hung window. I have just under 3/8 of an inch to work with.

I’m looking at maybe using something like this:

Something like the cmmf-875

Thanks!

I just found them

Yep, they are pretty much identical to the DW10 magnets.

Were you successful in using a smaller magnet for this sensor? Where do you buy this?

I just tried installing the DW40-345 magnet on a new slider window. It’s too large, specifically due to the depth it hits the sliding window.

Preferably the dimensions would be under 10mm wide and 5 mm deep, height does not matter.

Also, I’m used to double hung installs, this is my first slider. Besides the obvious (vertical install) is there anything else I should consider with the sensor placement?

I never bought the smaller magnets. I’m likely going to buy this sensor instead.

The nanomax uses the thinnest and lowest profile magnets I’ve seen packaged with a wireless sensor. It is the best bet for double hung windows or other tight spots.

Jason: Your Nanomax, is not 2GIG compatible, is that correct?

Do you have the 2GIG version (RE222T), can you get it?

What are the dimensions? (specifically of the magnet)

No, the RE122 is a GE sensor, not directly 2GIG compatible.

We do not stock or sell the RE222 as the other door window sensor options for that panel are more popular, but they may be available elsewhere.

The magnet is 5/16th inch wide and deep, 1 3/4 inches long,

I bought the Nanomax (RE222T) from a competitor. It worked perfectly for me (tight install on slider window). The magnet is tiny.

BillG89, I’m sure this will work with the 3/8 limit you mentioned.
