Shock Sensors for Fixed Pane windows?

Having just received my shiny new GC3, I’m specing my home perimeter sensors now for the future DIY install. I have fixed pane windows to the left and right of a back patio slider. There are fabric roman shades over the fixed pane windows (same weight as heavy drapery covering the slider). With the heavy drapery and cloth shades, seems that glass break sensors are not the right perimeter solution for this area when the drapes and shades are closed. I’ll be using a 2GIG DW10 with Jason’s 5150 Shock Sensor mod for the slider, but I’m not seeing any commentary in the forum on fixed pane glass protection?

I’m looking at Honeywell 5819WHS Shock Sensors adhered to the glass for the fixed panes (1 per pane). Is this the right solution?

This would depend on preference and cost, mostly.

The DW10 - 5150 combined shock sensor can just have its shock sensor loop learned into the panel and used as a shock sensor only.

The Honeywell 5819WHS likewise can be programmed to just use its shock loop. These are not specifically designed to attach to the glass, however, either should suit the purpose.

Thanks for the comments!
