I have a friend who has an Alarm.com system and they are getting severe weather updates to their panel. That’s when I noticed that I am not. Is that a feature that I need activated on my account?
Severe weather alerts are a feature of all of our 2Gig Alarm.com Gold Interactive systems, so if a severe weather forecast is in effect in your area you should receive them. That said, Alarm.com limits the service so that severe thunderstorms do not produce an alert due to the frequency of such alerts. This is covered in the post in the following link.
