If you’re not familiar with Serena Shades by Lutron, currently it’s the best Alarm.com compatible option to automate blinds/shades. Z-Wave shades should be coming soon to Alarm.com but Serena shades will probably remain the top higher-end option while Z-wave shades will be lower cost.

I’m excited to get my hands on the new z-wave shades, but I’m not sure they’ll dissuade me from using Serena in my home. Looking forward to deciding!
