Hi Tyler, thanks for the response:
- The sensor remains open for potentially days according to Alarm.com, while the panel at home will report all sensors are closed.
- It is always an Open/Close door Sensor, not always the same one I have the same type of 2GIG Thin Door sensors for indoor, and honeywell outdoor sensors, I have seen it happen with both the indoor and outdoor sensor.
- I notice the issue at least once a month, sometimes it happens more frequent.
- If I trigger the sensor and then close it again the sensor will start reporting the correct status to ADC. Just purely disarming the system and rearming does not fix the problem, the sensor needs to be triggered and then closed.
Also it appears that this issue is more common if a sensor was left open when the system was armed and then shut after the system was armed. For example, arming system when Garage Door sensor is open, the sensor will obviously be bypassed when alarm is set to active, but after the door shuts after alarm is active the sensor never reports a closed status.
