My front door sensor is showing open even though the door is closed. What could be causing this?

Regarding the sensor’s status, is it showing open just on Alarm.com? Or is it showing open on your 2GIG panel as well? It would say that the door is open on your touchscreen’s home screen.
One other thing to be certain of is that the magnet is lined up with the raised ridges located on one side of the sensor plastic. If it is not, realign the sensor and magnet and see if this fixes the issue.
