When the alarm system is off and I open my front door one of the sensors makes a clang clang sound like a cowbell. What is causing this to happen?
Likely the Zone 4 Front Door Sensor Chime settings. These control what sound the sensor makes when the door is opened.
You can navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings > Sound > Edit Chimes to adjust the chime type that is made.
You can disable sounds for that sensor by navigating to Settings > Advanced Settings > Enter Installer Code > Installation > Devices > Security Sensor > Edit Sensor.
Thank you for the clarification. I just wasn’t aware the front door sensor would make a sound when opened. It is okay as it is.
