Sensibo Integration

A company called Sensibo makes wifi controllers that allow you to remotely manage a ductless mini split, it emulates the ir commands of the mini split remote. Alarm.com shows that integration of this device is supported, how do you integrate the device? I looked in the alarm.com app to add this device and could not find it listed anywhere. But alarm.com does show this as a supported device. Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes, Alarm.com now supports the Sensibo Air and Sky Wi-Fi AC controllers. If you have a plan which supports thermostat automation they can be added.

Steps below after creating your Sensibo account:

Login to the Alarm.com website.

  • Click Settings.
  • Click Manage Devices.
  • Click Add Device.
  • Click Thermostats.
  • Click Sensibo controller.
  • Click Next.
  • Enter the Sensibo login credentials when prompted.
  • Accept the terms and conditions and wait for the discovery process to complete.

I realize this is an old post - but two questions:

How does the Sensibo show up in the ADC app and website? Does it look just like another thermostat in the thermostat section?

Do the sensibo units show on the IQ 4 panel for direct control from the panel and or the IQ remote PG panels?

Thank you.

Sensibo will show up under thermostats, but the integration is fairly limited compared to Z-wave options.

Currently with Sensibo you can remotely control the AC, and you can view the temperature and humidity reading from it.

It won’t display on the IQ Panel.
