Screenshots coming through sporadically with notifications

I have an ADC-V723 and ADC-VDB770 that have been sent up to send push notifications to my Android device with screenshots. The notifications remain consistent and accurate, but will only occasionally include a screenshot. Sometimes if I don’t dismiss the notification it appears within a minute or two, other times never.

This wasn’t an issue until the last few weeks (no changes to the system or my phone or anything).

I can’t seem to pick out a pattern to when/why this may be happening. Any suggestions? Just now I had some people at the house and both cameras sent me multiple notifications (over a span of 10-15 minutes), but maybe every 5th or 6th included a screenshot.

Can you confirm the OS of your Android phone? Does this occur on multiple phones?

Is your phone connected to your wifi at that time or is it only connected to cell data?

Have you tried rebooting your phone to see if there is any difference?

Thanks, Jason! It’s a Pixel 6a on Android 14. Both that and ADC app up to date.

Could be either. In the instance described above I was on cellular, but at home I’m on WiFi (although not necessarily the same band as the system). This happens both at home and away.

My phone has rebooted in the last few weeks without changing the behavior.

When I’m home I will test out if being on a specific wifi band makes a difference.

If the behavior continues I would recommend reinstalling the Alarm.com app and testing again.

Do you have any Android adaptive battery settings enabled?
