I’m having a hard time finding a Schlage Connect (Z wave plus) lock. Did they discontinue it? Is it safe to keep using my old original Z wave Connect?
How well do the newer Wifi Schlage encode work? Wifi v Z wave?
I want to be able to get notifications on who came in the door via the codes they use to unlock/disarm the system.
I’m not aware of any discontinuation of Schlage Connect Z-wave plus locks.
Schlage Encode locks are supported, but the newer Encode Plus are not supported at this time.
Schlage is not the only supported manufacturer, and they tend to have the most issues with compatibility. A list of Alarm.com supported devices can be found here.
