Was able to get this downloaded to my GC3. All seems to be ok, but I cannot connect to wifi anymore and there’s no weather on the panel. Anyway, I would like to roll this back to 3.0.2, as I am now regretting my impulsive decision to try to get the latest firmware. Any advice? I tried simply reflashing via the USB with 3.0.2, but that gave an error 3, that the firmware I was trying to install was incompatible with the current firmware. I fear I may have screwed up my new panel.
Happy to help!

While firmware version 3.1 for the 2GIG GC3 is being worked on, it is not available for general release at this time. We will update the forum once it is available.
It looks as though your panel is communicating via Wi-Fi, can you confirm? Additionally, commands have been sent to update weather at your panel, are you able to confirm this as well?
With regards to the firmware, there is no way to revert back to 3.0.2 at this time. 2GIG is working on releasing 3.1 in an official capacity but there is not firm ETA at this time either.
Once 3.1 production firmware is released, you will need to re-download it from 2GIG and apply it to your panel. This should fix any bugs that you may be experiencing currently due to the non production firmware.
Are you experiencing any other issues at the panel other than those mentioned?
On the wifi, when I go to connect I get a message after entering the password for my router that says “failed to connect” and then on the wifi networks screen I get see a message under the router I was trying to connect to that says “authentication error” I attached a picture. I have tried WPS, automatic, and manual and cannot get past the error.
I am still showing your panel as connected via WiFi and a ping over broadband was successful.
Try power cycling the panel. Unplug Power Supply then battery wait about ten minutes then power the panel back up Plug in battery first, then Power Supply. Any Change?
I tried powering down the panel and the router, but no luck. Strangely, I was able to connect the gc3 to my iPhone when set up as a personal hotspot, but not to my home wireless. I have two access points, one on the Verizon router and another to provide better wifi upstairs. It will not connect to either.
Quick update, I was able to locate the GC3 on my network via the MAC id and successfully ping it from the router. Steps I took:
Connect GC3 to and old unused router by using WPS. Get message that says “WPS Failed”, but because the router was unused there was nothing actively connected to it, except for one device (which had to be the GC3)…I wrote down the MAC ID. I pinged it just to confirm that it was active and the ping succeeded.
I next logged on to my main home router, pinged the device on the router with the MAC ID I wrote down. Ping failed because, again, the GC3 is connected to the old off line router. But it showed that at some point the GC3 was connected.
disconnected GC3 from old router
Connected GC3 to main home router via WPS. Got message that says WPS failed
Even though GC3 says WPS failed, I was able to ping it from my main router and test succeeded.
So, lesson is, even though GC3 says that the GC3 connection to router failed via WPS, it seems to be working. Tyler can you ping it again to double check from your end?
A ping was successfully sent and Alarm.com still registers the panel as connected via wifi
However, I am told that 3.1 does not change anything regarding dual path communications. The panel registering via dual path through Alarm.com, I am told, is not intended and is why you are having these connection issues.
Currently, with 3.0.2, wifi is only enabled for connecting the secondary panel (SP2) and wifi should, officially, not connect to Alarm.com. The as of yet to be released production version of 3.1 is not supposed to enable dual path through Alarm.com either.
