Can Resolution Products Universal Repeater, Translator (RE524X) be added with an older GE Concord 4 (Interlogix?) panel to translate the wireless 319 signals from the old Concord panel to make them readable by the new 2gig GC345 panel? I am attempting to install the GC 345 to take over the old Concord which is a mix of wired and wireless sensors.
Yes, the RE524X can translate 319.5 into 345 for use with the 2GIG Go!Control.
You can find the RE524X manual here. You would select Interlogix on the Sensor dial and 2GIG on the panel dial.
And then you’d still need the Take345 switch(s) to convert the wired zones from the old to the new, right? Thanks for your response. That was quick! And helpful. I am a novice at this!
BTW, it’s the 2GIG GC345 automation and control panel I am installing. Would the repeater/translator still achieve the same function with it?
Happy to help! Yes, you would need a TAKE-345 takeover module for the wired zones, and the RE524X for the wireless zones.
Those will work with either the Go!Control (GC2) or the GC3 panel.
