After moving my Honeywell Glass Break sensor, it’s since showed as tampering in my panel. What’s the easiest way to reset this status?
Tamper should automatically reset once you put the sensor back together. Is it possible the cover isn’t closed all the way or the batteries aren’t in properly? Honeywell 5853 glass break sensors need to be closed all the way to properly close the tamper switch. Once the tamper switch closes, the tamper should go away on the control panel.
