How can I reorder the sensor list on the right side of the screen to bypass when arming with the IQ Panel 2? Alphabetical or some custom order (most frequently bypassed sensors at the top) would be better than having to scroll to find the sensor I want to bypass.
By default it’s filtered to only show active sensors which is usually a short list. In your situation, do you have many active sensors which makes that list long or are you pressing the button to view all sensors so you can bypass a sensor that’s inactive?
I am pressing to view all sensors so that I can bypass one that’s inactive. I just want a more logical or convenient way to order those so it’s easier to find the sensors that I’m looking for.
Currently there is no way to do what you’re looking for but I’ve passed your feedback on to Qolsys so it will be considered for a possible future enhancement. Thank you for the feedback!
The best workaround would be to open the sensor before you arm the system so that it would appear in the short list of active sensors.
It has been a while since I originally posted this, but wondering if there might now be a way to reorder the sensor list. I would use partitioning but the extra steps required for arming/disarming would drive other people nuts in my household.
This is still not possible with no work around. As the IQ Panel 2 was discontinued some time ago, and the last firmware for it, 2.6.1, was released back in 2021, it is unlikely to be a feature that gets added to the IQ Panel 2.
