I’m having an issue with some of my zwave devices and wish to remove them and reinstall them. I’ve reset the devices to factory defaults, but I can’t seem to remove them from the panel. When I go to the “remove devices” page it just searches and searches and them times out.
Happy to help and clarify! When you go to the remove devices page, the panel will not list out devices. It is listening for devices to clear, the same as when it is listening for devices to add. You must activate the devices one by one to complete the clear action on each.
Z-wave devices and the controller save network info, and the clear process will delete the device’s saved settings as well as remove it from the controller if it is connected to the controller you are using to perform the clear action.
