I can’t seem to remove my yale door lock from ADC website. I am attempting to remove and add a new yale door lock, however ADC doesn’t allow me to remove lock so I can add new one. Is there some sort of specialized instructions. When I click remove from the website it can’t find door lock to remove it.
Remove it from your control panel and that will also remove it from Alarm.com.
This is putting the panel in exclusion mode listening for devices to remove. It is then necessary to perform the exclusion steps on the device you want to remove. This is ususally pressing a programming button. On a Yale lock there are keypad steps to take.
I usually recommend removing the devices on the panel. It looks like this is a 2GIG Panel correct? See below from this guide.
- Click on Services
- Then on Z-Wave
- Tap the Wrench Icon
- Enter your Installer Code
- Tap on Remove Devices
- While the panel is listening, utilize the Z-Wave devices add/remove feature (see device manual)
On the Yale lock I believe that would be enter its programming code > 7 > 3.
