I need to replace my alarm.com thermostat with a new one. I ordered a new thermostat but cannot figure out how to remove the wires from the ADC t-2000. I can’t cut them because they would then be too short, anyone know how to get the wires out? Most thermostats have a screw that will release the wire but the ADC T-2000 does not, any help is appreciated!
Happy to help! To loosen the wires to pull them out you just need to apply pressure on the little plastic tab on that terminal. It is easiest to use a small flat head screwdriver to do this. Pull on the wire while applying pressure on the tab.
Thank you! Not very easy but managed to remove the wire.
