During installation of the ADC T-2000 thermostat two wires were not installed correctly, how do I remove the wires from the thermostat? My old one had screws that released the wires but this one does not.
Once the unit is removed you should see the connecting wires and ports they are inserted to. Each one should have a corresponding tab that you push in (instead of a screw) while pulling out the wire.
You’ll likely need a small flat head screw driver to put a small amount of pressure on the tab and some needle nose pliers to pull out the wire.
Make sure to label the wires beforehand and/or take a picture before removing them if they aren’t already
