I picked up some open box Alarm.comADC-V722W 1080P indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi Cameras and when I tryed to install them I get a message that they are linked to an account and need to be removed before I can install them. I have no idea what account they could be linked too they were new cameras never before installed. Any help?
Ah, that is a danger with used Alarm.com cameras. If a camera is already tied to an Alarm.com account it cannot be used with another account until the account owner deletes the camera.
There is no way around this, it is a security feature which helps keep cameras from being used by anyone other than the account owner.
I would reach out to the vendor and let them know and request a refund. If they are unable to delete them from the Alarm.com account they are tied to then they should never have been sold.
